Cheerleading tryouts!! Healthy eating plan and workouts!!?

I have cheerleading tryouts soon. I know that it is a little late to prepare but… Anyway I need a diet plan, or really a healthy eating plan. I have a lot of trouble staying on these plans especially in the summer. So I need a plan that would be rather easy to fallow and any tips on how to stay on the diet? For a workout: I need a workout that will build my stamina and make me strong. I need better jumps too and some stretches would be great. Oh and it would be very nice to get flatter abbs and better legs and arms muscles. I need to learn how to do a bow-and-arrow and a scorpion. I want to also be a filer so any tips for that? I don’t have access to a gym just so that you know. Also I am sorry for the many questions, please answer seriously and try to answer them all.

How come eating healthy seems to make me sluggish?

I thought eating junk food was supposed to make you feel bad. Im 8 weeks pregnant so I have been trying to eat very healthy. And after I eat healthy I get a headache and feel very tired, but I feel fine after eating junk food or something not healthy. Why does this happen?

Help with healthy eating? Exercise/diet plan please?

Recently I’ve noticed that my general eating habits have really gone downhill. I either eat way less than I am supposed to, nothing but junk or lots and lots of food.

Also, I really don’t exercise at all, but I dislike going outside and can’t afford to buy expensive stuff or go swimming all the time (though sometimes I might be able to do this).

Can someone help me figure out an example healthy eating plan and exercise plan to help me out? It’s not so much to lose weight as get healthier physically. Once I get used to it it should become easier. Here are some points about me:

- I am 14 years old, 5’1″, usually between 49-52kg in weight
- Female
- Vegetarian
- Orthodontic braces, so very hard or chewy foods are a no
- I don’t mind cooking, but I need something quick for rush days and breakfast before school, like a smoothie
- Not picky with food at all, but picky about vegetables that are flavourless, so simple sauces and marinades will be better
- I love tofu and dairy
- Trying to stick to low-fat foods
- I have terrible endurance
- I don’t have a bicycle
- Don’t particularly like walking
- Don’t mind aerobics plans, as long as there’s a video you can recommend!
- I would like to have some numbers (e.g. how many sit ups and how many times daily, if possible)

Something based on these points would be amazing ^_^ If you could find a website and some recipes, that’d be very helpful : )

Suggestions for healthy eating on a tight schedule?

My school schedule for next semester has me going non-stop from 8 to 3 every day with no breaks. I was wondering if anyone had advice or knows of a good, cheap, fast, easily-carried , HEALTHY food item that I can eat during this time? I know about meal-replacement bars but Ive heard theyre not so good for you, plus I doubt I would enjoy eating 2 or 3 of them every day for 5 months! Any ideas would be great!

More than likely your problem is how to burn fat. Yes most people have particular areas (as in the above list) but it comes down to a total body fat loss, weight loss and building lean muscle.

So What are the keys to Fat Burning?

1) Diet and when I say Diet (actually diet is a poor choice of a word for this ) what I really want you to think of is eating clean and healthy.

First Let me let you in on a little secret

You don’t have to have the absolute perfect diet. Yes you need to kick the junk food habit (my weakness is peanut M&M’s) but you know what? I still allow myself to indulge in them from time to time.

Stay away from the fast food joints they are killers. It is a matter of developing a clean eating plan, planning out your meals a few days ahead of time helps a lot.

Portion control is usually the biggie. I am sure you have heard the best meal plan for losing fat is eating 5-6 meals a day. The key to this is your eating smaller portions spread out through the day.

You can essentially eat breakfast ( eat the bulk of your carbs early in the day) lunch and dinner but inbetween have 2-3 snacks a day. Snacks consisting of fruit, vegetables, nuts, whole grain products, non fat milk products.

Some benefits of snacking:

1) Healthy snacks provide fiber and nutrients your body needs.

2) You can curb the feeling of hunger or starvation right before a meal, which prevents overeating. Snacking may help you eat smaller portions and reduce your calorie intake.

Here is some calorie numbers for some healthy snacks:

Banana 1 medium banana – 118g Calories: 105

Apple 6.5oz Calories: 96

Raw Almonds 20 almonds Calories: 139

3) Though individual calorie needs vary, your body needs fewer calories as you age.

4) Eating smaller meals more often may help you stay on track.

Eating clean is a matter of determination and motivation if you want that thinner body there are certain sacrifices you must make. I can tell you that once you get into the habit and seeing that lean athletic body in the mirror everyday you will wonder why you didn’t do this sooner.

5) Stick to your nutrition plan 90% of the time using the 90% Compliance guidelines.

How does this work?

Well, let’s say you are on a 2000 calorie per day diet. To hit 90% compliance, that means 1800 calories must come from fruits, veggies, nuts, and protein, leaving you 200 calories “to play with”.

You can either have a 200 calorie treat each day, or save up 200 calories for 3-4 days straight and have a 600-800 calorie reward meal every 3-4 days.

Humorous names for a healthy eating plan (it’s a eating plan I want to type up for my mother…)?

My mother’s doctor recommended that she start eating better, so I am helping her look for healthier foods to buy. The only problem is that I know it’s going to be difficult to eat healthy sometimes and she’s not looking forward to the struggle. She wants to do it and is putting forth the effort, but it’s so hard for her. I just want to make her laugh so she won’t dread the new eating habits she’s going to have to form.

I’m typing up a “Eating Plan” for her with foods to buy and stuff, but I want to make it humorous so she won’t dread this new routine. For example, instead of something like “Healthy Foods to Eat Regularly”, maybe something funny would be better. I don’t know, I just thought it was a good idea.

How much does your metabolic rate increase when eating a 90-100% organic, balanced healthy diet?

And I mean healthy eating not organic sweets and sugar, but 8-9 fruits/veggies a day reasonable calorie intake, etc. Does the lack of preservatives really make a difference on metabolic rate? If so how much?
